One of the best performing Asia index, Nikkei 255 is about to burst forward towards 15000 and perhaps outpace the DOW now at 15118. Such a strong performing Asia index. Ever since president Abe steps on board, a surge of confidence has re-entered Japan stocks, pushing it higher and higher. With the help of government stimulus and of course, printing money (borrowing the books of Uncle Ben), Nikkei has risen an AMAZING 72% in 6 months!!!
This unbelievable feat is nothing short of a miracle given the fact that a lot of people has given up looking at the nikkei as the country's economy has been in the doldrums for 20 odd years, since year 1990.
Will this be the year of Japanese economy comeback? We all know that Japan is a "never say die" nation. It survived WW2 economic collapse with a comeback in 20 years. The nation is full of dedicated talents who are patriotic and disciplined. Let us see if Japan really make a comeback in a few years time.
In the meantime, let us enjoy the run-up of Nikkei which has a good chance of going past 15000!
